I accidentally sent the wrong message to my mom please read and answer!!!

Question

ok i was sending a text message to my friend and it accidentally got sent to my mom!!! it was a forward, like, the stupid 1s but i was bored so i sent it to a bunch of people... well it had a bad word in it and my mom is STRICTLY againt cursing. i know she didn't open it yet, because right after i sent it i looked at her phone and i don't think she will get it for a while. im really scared because im the good child in our family and i really dont wanna get in trouble. what should i do!?!?!?!?!?

tell her the truth that your friend sent it to you and you accidently sent it to her and it was a big mistake.

This is actually a good thing. She would eventually learn and it makes you face your own self and who you are. Either change and stop using those words, or be out in the open . It would help if I knew how old you are because if you are 16 or older you probably wont stop talking that way. But if you are younger I urge you to think about getting a job someday and having chldren of your own and whether you want to be in the lower class of people who use swear and p**n words. I bet you would like to be more refined, no? You will be well respected if you use good speech always and eliminate the'bad' words. I think that you rreally do care otherwise you wouldnt have written here so good for you

Delete it from her phone before she reads it or say that one of your friends was messing with your phone and sent the text message.

When you're mom doesn't have her phone delete the message . Or if she does get it say that someone was using your phone and messing around with it , but if nothing works just apologize she'll understand .

Well Music For Life, looks to this old guy like you are going to have some explaining to do to momma bear.  Hopefully she will see the humour in it, although I suppose a lot of it has to do with how vulgar you were.  Obviously you're going to have to apologize to mom and inform her that in the future you will be more careful when sending out messages.  Trust me mom was once young herself and she had a lot of the same problems that you are currently facing so lets hope that she finds some humour in this and perhaps even shares some of her adventures when she was your age.  Best of luck regardless of outcome.
