I accidentally stole something from Rite Aid

HaHa, I know It sounds retarded, but I did. I was looking around for some new makeup for school and my mom was outside waiting in the car. She started honking so I ran out and told her I'd be done in a minute, but I forgot I still had the eyeliner in my hand [[the eyeliner without the package.]]

But the crazy thing is , the alarm didnt beep. Why?

The alarm doesn't go on if u steal some as simple as an eyeliner.. It only goes on on stuff that are "wired up".. For example a 100 dollar blow dryer

they just got me,my first time he get my info and he told me they goung to send me a letter!he said that i need to pay for that.my question is if that will affect in my records?
