So my dad thought it'd be nice to buy me some spikes in March for Cross Country in September so i looked online and found these spikes. http://www.footlocker.com/catalog/productdetail/model_nbr--87129/sku--8059190/cm--GLOBAL%20SEARCH%3A%20KEYWORD%20SEARCH/ up until today I thought they would work out great for cross country, until I found out they were jumping spikes :[. I don't know where the reciept is and I don't know if I should use them or not. Someone please help me.

  1. don't use them for long distances you might get shin splints if you use them regularly. I would maybe use them for short workouts if you can't return them or sell them to someone who jumps on the team. If you ordered it online and payed w/ a credit card there might be a tracking number you can use.

  2. well you could us e them its just they wont be as good as regular spikes also get the 3/8 inch spikes for cross country

  3. IF YOU STILL HAVE THE BOX, THEY MIGHT BE ABLE TO TAKE BACK THE SHOES TO EXCHANGE FOR THE PROPER SPIKES.

IF YOU CAN'T RETURN THEM, SELL THEM ON CRAIGLIST, KIJIJII OR LOCAL CLASSIFIED, OR EBAY.

PUT IT UP ON A LOCAL HIGHSCHOOL COMMUNITY BOARD.

    GOOD LUCK:)

  4. It looks like they will work just fine. At least they are better than training shoes. If I were you I would be happy to run in those shoes.

  5. ...

I understand the problem, I often lose the receipts.

If it was Footlocker where you bought the shoes, and you didn't use the shoes, take them back in the box (I hope you still have that!) you got them in.

Some stores will take shoes back, even after extremely long periods of time (months, even a year or so!).

Without a receipt, you may only get back a credit for purchasing other products in the store.

Some stores, like Sports Authority, will only give you credit for the lowest price the shoe had been at the store.  So, if since your dad bought the shoes the spikes went on sale, you'd only get the sale price back.

    Regards,

    Phil

P.s., be sure to thank your dad for trying!  He had your interests in mind!  And that's a good thing!

  6. you cant use those. They might s***w up your feet. Buy new ones!!
