  1. Not likely - if anything, it won't be as effective. I take old medicine all the time, as does my mother who is a nurse. You can always call one of walgreen's 24-hour pharmacists who can give you information specific to what you took.

  2. You're probably dizzy because of anxiety...if its expired its lost its effectiveness...you'll be okay

  3. It really depends on what the medication was, dear.  Fortunately most medications folks keep around the house, including over the counter types, actually just lose effectiveness.  They don't morph into poison. At the worst usually you just don't get any relief from it.  You are likely dizzy because you are hyperventilating slightly and upset.  Just relax, chances are good you will be just fine.   Next time, check the dates on the stuff before you down it, and don't keep prescription medications hanging around once you finish with them.  It's just never a good idea.  Best to buy over the counter stuff on an as needed basis, unless it's something you use regularly.

  4. Drink lots of water thats for sure.

I was reading about this on the web and you got nothing to worry about. Like others here said it has mostly lost its potency. Here's a bit info for you:

The manufacturer cannot guarantee the strength and potency of their product past the printed expiration date. If a medication undergoes prolonged exposure to light, air and moisture, the active ingredient in the product reacts, rendering a change in the drug's potency. When aspirin is stored in the bathroom medicine cabinet, the prolonged exposure to moisture in the air makes the active ingredient in aspirin convert to acetic acid, which is why old aspirin smells like vinegar.

Drink water it will help flush out your system.

  5. Wow that gave me a big rash in my neck one time, to the point where it was peeling.

Maybe you should call the pharmacy they usually have a pharmacist that can prescribe or recommend something to you.

  6. Ha ha ha! Relax! You won't die. It just won't work well. Throw medicine away once you have finished with it....to prevent this happening again.

  7.   Call---1-800-222-1222.  This is the national number for poison controll. they can tell you if you are in danger and what to do. This number is for the whole country.

  8. u r trippin'..You are fine.  If anything the medicine isn't as strong and YES YOU ARE GOING TO DIE....but not 'cuz of the old meds.
