  1. you can put warm milk and wet cat food out there.

mash up the cat food first.

its nice to see people willing to help helpless animals.

i dont think u should take the cats in but u could put like a box with food and milk in it.

if the momma cat doesnt show up take action and bring them in.

    goodluck.

    name one gizmo.

    lol.

    :D

  2. Try to keep the dog away from the area.  Mother will come back, and most likely hide her babies elsewhere. If you want to be nice, you could put a pan or food & water out near where they were. But then they might make themselves at thome and they would all be yours!

  3. Where were you? Oh, your house? Okay then. That's good. Were they new kittens? I honestly do not think the mother will come back. My best friend found a cat in her backyard. They put up signs, but no one claimed it so it was probably a stray cat. They took it in and it's really big now! I would take them in (that way you can make sure they're out of harms way for now), and take them to a vet. Have them checked out and vaccinated. Then they'll be safe. You may want to keep them. That's my opinion. Good luck and God bless you and those cats!

  4. She didn't abandon them, she probably just went to go find herself something to eat. Don't mess with the kittens. Mom won't like your scent all over her babies.

If they are strays contact your local humane society.

  5. yes the mother will come back, the kittens will start crying for food,so she will come back for them, she has probably gone to find a safer spot to hide them, most animals do this in the wild, when the mother and baby are under threat from predators.if she doesn't;t come back, then you may be hand rearing kittens, but just watch and wait, she should return

  6. I don't think the mother will come back so call animal control and they will take care of the kittens.

  7. take them to a vet the mother probably got scared and left them there if the mom doesnt show up in a couple days then she isnt coming back but in the mean time buy some cat food and make a bed out of a blanket for them and give them some water WHATEVER YOU DO DONT GIVE THEM MILK!!!!!TRUST ME MY CAT GOT SICK AFTER HE DRANK MILK EVEN THE ONE MENT FOR CATS AND KITTENS THE VET SAID ITS BAD TO.

  8. Oh, I wouldn't worry about it, just don't touch the animals.  The mother will definitely come back for her kittens.  She got scared and ran off, which is surprising that she didn't protect her young.

  9. keep an eye on them if you want you can give them away when there old enough

  10. Wait a day she may be getting food for herself... she has to eat sometime... if she isnt back in a day 24 hours call your local animal shelter to come and get them... hopfully the animal shelter will be able to grow them up and give them to a good family... unless you want the task of watching kittens and bottle feeding them... cats arent like birds they wont leavet their children b/c of a dog she would have taken them with her at all costs.

  11. DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THEM. If you touch them they'll smell of human and the mother will shoot them. Or something. Just leave them alone. LEAVE THEM ALONE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

  12. Watch them for a few hours to see if she comes back.  If she doesn't and you want to save them, get a box with towels in it, go get some formula and start feeding the things.  You can always take them to a shelter, but no chance they will survive there- the shelters are over populated.

  13. The mother will most likely come back. Wild mother cats need to leave to go them selves something to eat all the time. Just leave them there for now and if shes not back in an hour or two then take them inside.

  14. Just watch to see the mother comes back. If you are willing to take care o the kittens look kitten care sits online. How old do you kittens look? Please update us on what happens.

  15. sh'ell most likley come back probably scared off from the dog u shud take thae kittys in and wen u see the mom just putem back

  16. the mother will come back when you aren't around and move her kittens somewhere else.  don't worry.  just leave them alone.

  17. If the mother does not return then you could feed them white thin milk with water in. And when they get older for food weater bics with milk is good for them and also scarmbled egg.    Hope this helped! :)

  18. DO NOT touch them! If you touched them already, the mother cat wont take care of them anymore! If you didnt, she will probably come back and everything will be fine. I suggest you stay away from the area for a bit so the mother cat isnt scared of coming back. However, you can probably stay close enough so you can hear the kittens. If the kittens get hungry, they will cry very loud. Let the kittens cry for a bit but if you hear them crying even after 7-10 hours, the mother cat probably abandoned them. Even so, try to wait around a day and then go back to see if the mother cat is there. If she isnt, then you'll probably have to take them in or call a shelter.

  19. There is no way to tell. You should watch the spot where the kittens are for the rest of the day, to see if the mom comes back. Go to the petstore and by some kitten formula and a plastic eyedropper (just in case) Here look at the sites on this page. http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&h... Good luck!

  20. If the mother does not come back in three days adopt the kiteens feed the warm milk on a rag they will be happy.

  21. Watch for the mother to come back, if you dont see her in a couple of hours then you need to start feed them kitten supliment. Give the mother time to come back to them, your dog most likely scared her. If you or your dog toched teh kittens in anyway however she will most likely leave and not come back. The only thing you can do is watch for her and hope she comes back.

  22. She might come back. Give her this day without picking.

  23. well, maybe the mother is out looking for food. i would say leave out some milk and food, and check on them every so often.

  24. If i were you i would fix up the spot where she left her babies she will come back but try not to get your scent on the babies sometimes they won't want them anymore after you touch them.

Put some food for the mom but be careful it might attract other animals and they might eat the babies good luck.

  25. hmm that is a tough question maybe call animal control or maybe u can take care of the kittens for a while and keep a look out but if the mother doesn't come home soon i suggest u call animal control

  26. If the mom is feral she will not come back until you are gone. She is most likely to come back a dusk. This is the time cats get active.  Keep the dog in the house and put a bit of food out. Don't put a whole meal, just enough to get her attention. If the kittens are there 24 hours later and screaming for attention then you have a problem. Give mom time because her milk bags will fill and be very uncomfortable and she will be looking for the babies to relieve her.

  27. ok, this happened to me once

and i had to find someone that knew what they were doing, because if you find them so young, they really could end up dying without proper care, because they really do need to be with their mother,

so find someone that KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING!

trust me, find someone that is already a cat owner and yeah

    and good luck

  28. Try to monitor the situation from afar and call your local SPCA or Humane Society who could rescue them. If they are unwilling to help then call a cat rescue, look them up on Google for one in your area.

  29. i would say watch for the mom and if she doesnt come back (depending on how little they are) that you should try to catch them and take them to a shelter that will take care of them.

if you want to do it yourself get some little bottles with kitten formula if they are really little.  if they are bigger get some kitten soft and hard food from the store to feed them, a litterbox with non-clumping litter (so they wont eat it)

always keep water available and it helps to soften the hard food if they are having a hard time eating it

the bathroom is always a safe place to keep them so they can run around and not get lost

  30. Aww. I'd keep a watch on them and if the mother doesn't come back, you should keep them if you can or call the humane society or something. But the mother will probably come back.

Leave them where they are, too, don't move them.
