  1. He'll be ok it happened also to me

  2. if it stays like that for a while go to ur cat's vet

  3. It may twitch for a little while (hour or so).  But if it continues you may have scratched the eyeball itself and the cat would need to be taken to the vet.  There is a gel they apply and its fairly cheap.

  4. I'm sure he'll be fine but if it carry's on call the vet or something like that and get their advice.

  5. If it continues to twitch, tear, squint, becomes red, or his 3rd eye lid appears, or he paws at it with his paws or rubs it against things, he should see a vet asap.  He could have a scratch that you can not see with you naked eye.  If left untreated it could develop into an ulcer which could in turn result (if still left un treated) in the actual loss of sight or even the loss of the eye.

Never use any human medications in the eye without direct approval from your vet.  Many contain steroids which depending on the damage of the eye will result in the opposite affect you are looking for.

Best of luck - I hope he feels better soon :)

  6. If it doesnt swell, Then you wouldnt need to worry. If anything changes in or around the eye, Or you see discharge - Take it to the vets.
