I accidentally hit this woman's car in a parking lot, caused minimal damage to her read bumper but damage none the less. I waited for her to come back to her car and she seemed not bothered at all. She claimed that it was a company car and that her company would probably fix the damages but I gave her my number and she took down my plates if there was to be an issue. she told me probably not though and was very nice about the whole thing.

I am worried because I just started driving and was driving my moms car so something like this could jeopardize future chances of driving it. Do you think the company will pay for the damages or am i gonna get screwed?

  1. Why should her company pay to fix damages you caused? Nope, you or your insurance company will have to pay.

  2. Her insurance company or the company she works for may pay for the damage, but they will come after your mom for reimbursement.  That's why she took your license plate number.

  3. Well your moms insurance will fix her car but it will depend on the company if they want to file a claim against your insurance or not.  All you can really do is wait but you would be better off telling your mom yourself just in case because if she gets a call from the insurance company or something she may be really mad.
