I accidently showered with my friend Toby. He feels awkward now, why? Is there something wrong with him?

My friend Toby spent the night at my house last night and he decided to take a shower upstairs before we went to bed. I walked up there and heard him singing, so I accidentally opened the door and got in the shower with him.

He said "Barrence, what are you doing in here?" I just said, "oops sorry about that", smiled and walked out. Now im not a rainbow person or anything, it was just an accident. It could have happened to anyone.

Why is he acting all awkward around me? I don't want him spreading rumors to the rest of the chess team at school.

  I see you have asked twice, so I will give an alternate answer--  just tell people if it comes up, that you were embarassed to leave your Spongebob shampoo and Squidward soap bar in the shower--  you waited until Toby had soap in his eyes so you could sneak in without him seeing you there, but unfortunately you were caught

You can't accidently get in the shower with someone. Perhaps it was a clumsy attempt to letting your friend know you are attracted to him. And if you were g*y, no one would care. seriously
