I accidently turned off my xbox 360 while the disk tray was open?

i tryed to turn it back on but i get 3 flashing red lights and the disk tray wont open, every once in a while it will open but i still have 3 flashing red lights

If you switch off with the tray open, the 360 will just close it. Something else is wrong with your 360, ring MS

yeah it sounds like you have the Red ring of death. Contact microsoft right away. their number is 1800-4MY-XBOX. Trust me this happens to alot of people so ur not alone. Im sry and good luck

As far as I know, having the tray open while you turn off your Xbox doesn't do anything. I've done it hundreds of times and nothing happened. There is something else wrong with your 360.

this has nothing to do with the tray being open this is a very common overheating problem that 360's have luckily there is an easy fix that you can do yourself without sending it in to microsoft and spending 140 bucks
