I adopted a cat,he is shy around people,

But he was know to opean up to other cats. The cat that I already have was also like that when i frist got her. how long until they can meet?

Let them meet. Just give your new and old cats time to adjust and they will all settle and be comfortable.

some cats just take a lil time to get used to u or other cats

he could have had limited (or negative) contact with humans before you got him or was only around other cats. Where did you get him from? Was he a rescue?
