  1. CARN THE BLUES!

They have a few more years for it to fall in place.

I think either Geelong or Hawks.

  2. Well i go for kangas and they are doing just ok this year...

hawks are doing good so they have a chance:p

    my aunty goes for hawks:p

when it is a roos vs haks games the preassure is on... but good luck to all the supporters

  3. GEELONG FOOTBALL CLUB

  4. I think the dogs will win it this year.

  5. My team (Cats) have to be considered favourites, so I talk in terms of what scares me.

Bulldogs scare me coz of their hunger.  They've gone longer than the Cats did I think.  They are the best Doggie-style team I've seen in my life and have the upset chance.

Buddy scares me, the rest of Hawthorn doesn't.  It would scare any other team but I think the Cats vs Hawks game comes down to .... can we control Buddy?  We have the player in each position to match or better everyone else on that team (e.g. Scarlett should keep Roughead to a few goals).  The answer is probably to control the ball getting to Buddy!

Pies are always a worry to any team.  But I can't 'see them' winning a flag this year.

    The rest ... long shots

  6. I think it will be out of The Bulldogs and Geelong..But my team(Hawks) will be up there and i wont discount them neither..

  7. im kinda hoping its between the bulldogs and the cats (and im a south australian!)

because the other teams don't really deserve a spot at this time. like hawthorn for example, they are no where NEAR as good as Geelong. and i personally can't wait for the geelong v hawks match so all the bloody hawks supporters can finally shutup about how "great" their team is.

then there are teams like the swans, maggies, and my beloved crows. i mean, they are great teams, but again, in comparison to the dogs and cats, they look very small

and with the dogs v cats grandfinal (omg an all victorian one for the first time in ages, that'd keep the bloody vics happy)

i reckon the cats will win.

  8. Geelong will win back to back seasons

  9. On present form you cannot go past Geelong.  My team (Swans) won't do it after that debacle on Saturday night they just don't look "The Goodes".

Also I think Collingwood could take it out if they get there.  I have a gut feeling the Doggies won't be there but I am often wrong.

Dunno about Hawthorn....Maybe???  Maybe the ground conditions on the day will be a big influence and of course injuries between now and then.

  10. I will say Western Bulldogs.

But if I had to stake my house on the result - it would be placed on Geelong.

  11. **I think that it'll be Geelong.  In the last few weeks they've really stepped up and are playing the same quality footy that saw them win the Grand Final last year.

I think it'd be a bit of a pitty if Geelong didn't go back to back because I believe they have the team to do it and a team can only play such good, consistent footy with a great side for a few years so now is the time for Geelong.

As for who they'll play, I think that it will either be Hawthorn or the Western Bulldogs and I'd be leaning more towards the Bulldogs.**

  12. anyone who finises in the 8 can win

i honestly think collingwood has its best chance this year to take it

    Good luck to all

  13. Collingwood (in my dreams!!)

In reality, Geelong or Bulldogs have the best chance of a flag this year.

  14. Geelong is my tip for the flag this year, however, i think if Hawthorn is able to field thier best 22 then they could also have a chance.

I think the GF will either be between Geelong V Bulldogs or Geelong V Hawthorn

  15. thats easy - swans for sure--

    SWANNIES FTW!

  16. MELBOURNE DEMONS

  17. In my eyes it's pretty much between Geelong, Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn.

I want the Cats to win again, mainly because my Dad and Brother barrack for them.

  18. I know it wont be the Bombers, so I really hope that the Bulldogs can pull it off, having only ever won the one premiership in all these years. But I have a sour feeling that it might be Geelong again.... I really don't know how I will handle the pain...

  19. i would LOVE to say the swans, but based on their performance on saturday i dont think i could safely place that bet..

    so maybe hawks?

still crossing my fingers for swannies though :)

  20. Geelong just look 2 powerful 4 Bulldogs Hawthorn or Sydney so Geelong

  21. I'd have to say it looks as though the cats will win back to back, but I do think the Dogs are a real chance and I'd like to see them win it.

  22. hopefully the western bulldogs

  23. Well for the first time in a few years we (WCE) won't be playing in a finals campaign.  Mind you, last years was pretty hard to watch - the rot had well set in by that point.

Cats look good, but the Dogs or the Hawks might have them on the day, and if they Pies get into the final, then the Cats might get the yips and blow it.  But its theirs to blow.
