I all just makes me cry all the time..?

Question

I finally got my daughter on the phone after not having talk to her in over a week..She does not have a phone.

She is 18 and living in a different state..

after talking to her for a few seconds she starts to cry, not that she wants to come home but about her boyfriend being able to go over to a friend of his and shower and wash his clothes when she is not aloud to..

Now I know I can not make every one like my daughter, It makes me crazy that she is with someone that finds this ok..He leaves her in a home with no electicity to go to someone elses house to shower and make sure he has clean clothes...

I know I can only do so much and since she will not come home ..."I love him mom".. Yeah right, that sure is love..

It just makes me cry all the time that she thinks it is ok to be like this.. I just want her home with me.

I would try to make it to where she was to "check in". Let that loser know he can't treat your daughter like that. You don't even have to talk to him in front of your daughter. Be tough. Go get her. Sounds like she needs your help.

all you can do is be there for her i was like her when i was 18 i eventually saw sense after two years of been treated like a fool but thankgully my parents never dis owned me and i was felt able to go back to them and get my life back on track again, so my advice is support her and always tell her she is welcome home at any time ,hopefully she will see through him and move back with you or leave him anyway.

Go and get your daughter. It's far, yes probably... but if you show up at her door and offer to taker her home even just for a week, she'll hopefully realize that you have a lot more love for her than this guy does.

And then don't let her go back. Im sure she's very smart. She's probably very proud too and probably believes that making it on her own is best. It's now up to you to teach her otherwise!
