  1. That is a lot of miles for the age of the car. They may have been a traveling business person. The price would have to be really right to consider it's purchase. The mileage does not make it a bad car, just one that has abnormally high mileage. If it was properly serviced it could be a good buy.

  2. Lots of miles for that new of a vehicle. It may actually be better deal though. These could be highway miles and not strain the engine as much as city driving. Sounds more like a company car or a lease return. I would pass on it unless the price was really good.

  3. Yes, very high mileage for an almost 3 year old car.  12 -15 K per year are average. Probably a salesman's car or rental. It's out of warranty and unless it's a steal, I'd pass.

  4. The miles are a bit high but the car is 2 1/2 years old. Pry mostly highway miles. Depending on the price it might not of been a bad car.  Highway miles are better than the stop and go of City miles. You should of asked where the miles were accumulated

  5. No, its not too many.  The average drive puts 12-15k per year on a car.

Seeing as we dont know what part of 07 it was purchased in, that seems within the norm.  Right now, we are effectively in the 2009 model year.

So, the car is considered to be three years old (07, 08, 09)

at 15k / yr. it would have 45000 miles - or 36000 at 12k.  So no, its not out of hte range of "normal driving"
