I work in a Grocery store and today was pure h**l for me. So I was outside today, courtesy clerk- job was to get carts e.t.c. A supervisor came out and I said do you need something, and I felt that he disrespectfully ordered me to follow him. I spoke on how I felt and he told me watch who I talked to, I told him to watch how he talks to people and sugested that he take lessons, dumb move, I know. Eventually I had a meeting with my other supervisor along with the first one and they explained that my job performance was horrible. That truly hurt me. I worked so hard for the remainder of my shift and realized that they were right. At the end of the night, the other supervisor said she was impressed with how thwe lot looked and I asked to start over and she said sure. I need a fresh attitude e.t.c., any tips?

  1. to give anything but your best is to sacrifice the gift. clearly you have it in you.  try an energy drink and a healthy snack before work. i know it sounds stupid but sometimes a little bit of energy at the beginning is all you need to get the groove.  and whenever any of your superiors talks to you about anything be respectful regardless of their tone,  if their tone is bad chances are it's because of you.  your objective is to change their tone through your actions.  work hard, be polite, you can excel adapt and overcome at any task given motivation.

  2. First, don't take it so hard. It's a jack job and you won't have it forever.

Do take the chance to do better. Like most folks, you'll probably have your share of jack jobs but there's still satisfaction to be had in doing a job well.

  3. Hi

    Just watch what you say

If someone ask you do something and he/she not your immediate supervisor, tell him/her thath you need to seek clearance from your immediate supervisor nicely, then you will not offend anyone

You will not offend the one order you and your own supervisor

Just watch the way you talk, talk tactfully with skill, it needs practice

    Take care

  4. I doubt that you will ever learn your lesson, you are obviosusly rude and disrespectful to the core so probably you were raised that way so you will never change. Get used to being at the bottom of the food chain and never lasting in a job.

  5. You don't won't to s***w up on your first job.

If your immediate super is the problem, ask his boss if you can change shifts, that you enjoy the work, that you want to do well, but his leadership is hard to get along with, demoralizing,  etc.

I know there is a better way to say it, but it just seems that your attitudes clash.

Don't bash him to her, even if she says he's a pedophile or murderer. because she probably had a hand in hiring him, so bashing him to her... she may think you are judging who she picks as leaders.

  6. If you brush your teeth, you can save money by going to Home Depot, its very simple.

  7. Excuse me, I always get fired when I work, whether it's temp jobs(long time ago) or one permanent job.

  8. Remember what your mother always taught you, never talk back to adults. And no matter how old you get that saying never changes. You must learn to bite your tongue a lot in life.
