Don't worry about the offended part(lol) that's why I'm here I have know knowledge on this issue at all..However I'm using a regular tape measure the silver one(E-Z read Olympia).

Hey guys I just measure my loft, and if I'm correct it's (12f/10w 10f/5h inches) may have went over just a little in inches.

As far as for the livingroom, I'll mesaure that later my condo is very tall as far as for the high ceilings..I think the loft mural will be fine for now..

This is a already made mural, so the higher in measurement, the higher in cost... fyi

  1. I'll respond  to this too, no offense, LOL.

Your initial Q stated a HUGE mural for the loft. Your current measurements suggest that isn't a workable plan.

Now backing up the really big no offense thing. I so want to assume you have used a ruler, or know inches/feet etc. and how they equate. You seem to, since you have offered measurements in both questions. I am still confused about your confusion. To divide an area is to do 3 rd grade math, and centering,,, IF that's possible, or aesthetically viable is still my suggestion.

The wall to ceiling height does not matter at all unless you want to center a mural on the wall, using splitting the height as your guide, which seems way abstract to me, in the sense of having to crane ones neck or stand way back to look at the entire image.

As an Artist for 40 plus years, and NOT doing furniture for walls as my top choice, what exactly are you trying to achieve? I'm rambling perhaps but it's my nature.

      I offer some anaologies.

Assume the Mural is the only focus you care about. I want to then assume the entire mural/murals, could be viewed without distractions. My rationale seems pretty logical to me. If I had a Mural that was nearly the size of any single wall, hung it, then covered it's lower half with furniture, what possible sense would that make?  Maybe I'm just crazy?

We still can't know the layout, your notions about what it is you want to achieve in some focal point, and the measurements of any mural/wall, should obviously Fit.

The already made is of no consequence in us answering, with regard to measurements or pricing

    Still, just my two sense
