I want the name to go well with my kitten that I already have. Also, a type that will match nice with my kitten already she is a calico baby. And one more thing how will she react if I get another kittten? And there will be age diffrence. Thank You!

  1. Ok. If you don't want kitties, get the same gender. It's best, or you can get a spade cat. It depends if you like it or not. Cats actually like names. Keep on calling names you wanna name it, and once it answers or stares at you, you know it wants that name. Oh yeah, make sure your cat likes other cats

  2. i have 8 cats i would say get a white male cat and name him sugar or get a black or brown cat and name him coffee and they would get a long better if they were the same age have fun with your cats

  3. I think you should get a male cat/kitten.

When i had my cat kit we got a kitten which was also a female, they didnt get along at all to the point where kit ran away. So my advise would be to get a male kitten just to be one the safe side.... but if you dont want kittens, i suggest you get the female/male done :)

  4. I would call your local animal shelter there are so many unwanted cats that will have to die. Ask them if you can bring your kitten in with you to find one that will fit into your family.

  5. If your current cat is named Creme, then you have to name the new cat Peaches.

It really hard to say whether or not the two will get along.  It has more to do with the personalities of the two cats.  I recently adopted a feral female about 8 months old.  At first, she and my old (15+ years) male cat didn't get along, but now (4 months later) they tolerate each other just fine.

You should get both cats fixed regardless of genders.

  6. I would definitly try to go with a younger kitten then, your cat will most likely respond well to a younger cat. Try to get a girl, as she might start fights with a boy. It doesn't matter what breed you get, but personality will make a difference. When I brought a new kitten home, I brought them together right away and they got along pretty well, so I was lucky. If you aren't this luck try slowly introducing them. Try to keep them on different floors of you house if possible, if not at least try to keep them in different rooms. Rub your cat with a cloth and give it to the kitten do the same for the kitten. If this goes well, bring them together through a door (closed!!) and try to have a person on each side to see how they react. If this goes well, have them both on leashes and see how they react. If this goes well allow them to smell each other and if this goes well, take the leashes off and let them play. If any of these steps aren't working, wait a while, go back and try the previous one until it works. Reward positive behavior and actions with treats and pets, and allow no reward for negative reactions. Remember that your new kitten will be scared, so give it time to get used to the house before letting it see the other cat. Good luck :)

  7. Kittens love to play, and I think your kitten would love to have a playmate! If you're going to add another cat, now is the time to do it while she's young and still learning. Older cats take longer to adjust to a new "roommate." If you get a male, make sure you neuter and spay ASAP- your little kitten will be going into her first heat very soon (it's usually about 5 months.) I suggest a tabby male.

  8. Age difference won't really matter. Whether it's cats or dogs, you should always have at least two, so they won't be bored when you're not around. And yes, animals do get bored and lonely. Please acquire your other kitten from a shelter or the humane society, if you can.

  9. Creme lol

It's better to bring cats or any other animals together when they are young. That way they can grow up together and get used to eachother. Also sometimes the older kittens can be rough when playing, so if the other kitten is still very small you might want to keep an eye on them at first.

Any kitten should get along with the one you have now there aren't certain types that are nicer or match better with calico's. I like fluffy cats but they require more maintenance. Blue eyed Siamese cats are REALLY cute too.

  10. well i had a Norwegien forest cat declawed and a Maine coon cat they were both speyed or nuetered but they hated eachother so you should get another kitten fast so you 5 month old kitten will think its a brother or a sister oh yeah if your a breeder for cats get a male kitten norwegian forest cats are lazy while maine coons are really fun, playful and nice.
