I already have a Virus protection installed, can i still use Norton 360 Or will they both not work properly? ?

The Virus Protection service I have is Verizon Internet Security Suite, and if i install Norton 360 will it be too much or will they collide with each other what should i do?

Norton's will not install if you have something else on your system.

Either are better than nothing, but neither are very good.

McAfee is good.

You can also get some free ones that work well such as PCTools, or AVG. Spybot is also VERY good, but uses a lot of resources.

you have verizon internet suite which sucks , and now you want to install norton 360 which sucks even worse , oh dear your gonna be 100 before you get your first website to load ..

the best thing you could do right now is NOTHING  . you might think i am trying to be funny , no the case  install it if you want but I bet your back on here in short order screaming your pc is really really slow

First off, do not use Norton, its a piece of useless garbage that hogs all functionality of your system and registry....now thats out of the way, only have one virus protection software on at a time, otherwise, you're going to have registry and file sharing conflicts in your system which will cause shutdowns and error messages galore.

Stay away from Norton it SUCKS!   go with Kaspersky.  

You can have only one Anti Virus Program installed on your computer

because they will conflict that you can bet on.

Take this advice, you can not have no more than 1 antivirus program installed on your computer at one time, if more than 1 they Will be in conflict with each other and not work properly . (so use only one)  Now if you already have one and it is giving you the protection that you were looking for and it is doing a good job, then keep it. Now if you want to use Norton 360 (which is very good ) to each his own. then you need to uninstall verizon internet security suite from your Program List and once uninstalling finishes then go back and install norton 360 . the choice is yours just remember to only use one ok. try to not ever use two anti virus software it will damage your pc , always use one only and try to stay away from norton products they are the worst anti virus i have ever used i use a free one and its better : www.free-av.com
