  1. no, there isn't. you need the receiver on the othe tv

its only at additional $5 a month for the receiver

  2. Yes unfortunately there is a charge of $69 for the receiver and also in most cases an install charge of $80. The only other alternative is the splitter and watching the same channel on all tv's. The splitter can be purchased through one of our retailers which are circuit city or best buy. They may even have them at Wal-Mart. Also just to let you know regardless of how long you have been a customer there will also be a new commitment period to add a receiver. For a standard receiver it is 18 months. Very unfair but unfortunately there is no way around it. Good luck to you.

  3. no.God bless.

  4. You may want to look into upgrading your receiver to a two-room receiver... I know it's available through Dish Network so I would check to see if direcTV can set you up with one inexpensively.

    Good luck!

  5. You can connect as many TV's as you please to the one reciever, but they all have to watch the same thing at the same time. If you want to watch different things, you'll need more than one reciever.

  6. Either link them by splitting and sending what you're watching to other tvs in the house or else getting another reciever.

  7. You could either get a splitter and connect two tvs to the receiver and get IR remotes so you can control it from either room, or you would need to get another receiver.

Janelle is wrong about the additional receiver. There is no additional $80 cost for installing the receiver. The initial $69 lease fee includes the receiver and standard professional installation. The only additional charge may be $19.95 for delivery and handling.

Sometimes, though, customers are eligible for upgrade offers that aren't available to the open market, so you would need to call customer service to find out if your account is eligible.

  8. Nope, you would have to call Customer Support and order a another receiver at a price.

    God Bless! :)
