I already have a dog and since I'm getting a kitten, I'm scared they won't get along.

Question

My dog is old, about 12. She's never had another animal in the house except for maybe a bunny, she isn't bad tempered, very calm, but I still have that worry. I haven't received the kitten yet but it is also a girl. Help?

your dog may be a litt le hesitant in excepting the cat, but with time it will be no problem. just make sure to let them see eachother a lot. at first you will probably want to be present for these engagements but soon they will have no problem being together.

It won't matter. If the dog was good natured towards the rabbit then he'll probably not have any trouble with the kitten. Also, s*x usually won't have an effect on the dog's temperament. Good luck with your new kitten!
