I'll be 16weeks pregnant on Friday (according to my last dr appt.)

I've alreay had four due dates.

According to my first ultrasound it was Feb 17.

According to the date of my last period its Feb 9.

Accoring to my 2nd ultrasound it was Feb 12..

And yesterday my dr said it was Feb 6.

They are all in the same ball park, but I just don't understand why I already have 4 due dates! I know my baby will come when it's ready, but still.

Has anyone else had this many due dates this early?

  1. They changed my sisters due date twice. But like my mom has always said (she had 7 kids) go by your last period to get your due date.

  2. oh yes, a due date is only a guesstimation. but from the sounds of it just expect to give birth in Feb. With my first, my doctor changed my due date 3 times and then he said to expect to go 2 weeks late or 2 weeks ahead so I said  ok I guess I'm due any day in April, (my first due date was april 10th) I had him on April 21.

  3. Since i got pregnant, my due date has remain the same.. I've had ultrasound on every visit and is still the same..

Don't worry about the dates, your baby will come out when it's time for your baby to come out !

    Good luck !

  4. The doctor determines your due date according to the last time you had your period.  However, when you go in for check ups, the doctor examines the size of your baby and assumes that the baby is either much bigger or much smaller than he should be, so the due dates change.  As long as the month dates are similar, you're fine.

When I was pregnant, the ultrasound doctor thought my baby was too big for my due date.  At the end, my baby came out to be 6 lbs and 2 oz.  This is borderline of being underweight.  Don't always trust what the doctor says.  You should just accept an estimate.
