I already have ticket domestic flight how can i change my schedule? do i have to pay again?

my friend buy me air ticket, i told him my flight is june 18 but when i got mail today my iterenary ticket is july he pay thru his credit card what shoul i do im here in dubai, and my arrival in manila is june 17 my departure should be june 18 415am but my ticket is july do i have to pay again but its not my mistake? i hope u can share with me some suggestions thnak you very much.

As a flight attendant for a major U.S. carrier and the only U.S. carrier that flies to Manila, my first suggestion is to call the airline's reservation right away to inform them of your honest mistake.  Now, don't be surprised if they say that there is fee to change your itinerary which is normally the case (w/c is normally between $100 - $125 depending on the carrier).  Try to sweet talk yourself of not getting the fee.  If all else fails, you just have to bite the bullet and pay the "change fee."  Which is more important: to fly on June 18 but pay the change fee or fly on July 18 and nothing out of your pocket?  The decision is ultimately yours.

The worst case scenario is that they charge you:

(change fee, probably $50 or $100) plus (cost of July flight) minus (how much you paid for June flight).

That could be a lot of money.  But you might get out of some of those charges if you are polite and honest.  Maybe if they insist on charging the fee, say "No thank you, I'll keep my original dates" and then call back later and hope to talk to somebody else.
