I get loud and joke around a lot. I mean it in a friendly way though. How can I be more calm around him?

That's pretty normal, you just get overexcited around him since you like him so much!

Try showing him your calm side by doing something calm together, like watching a movie, or just sitting together, or anything like that.

maybe when you two watch a movie or something

just have like a nice calm quiet conversation

the movie will kind of force it on you

then you can sit close/cuddle :]

maybe its because ur relationship is still new and its kinda awkward or ur just happy when u get to see him. i suggest just trying to be chill one day. go for a walk or something watch a movie....guys like girl that can have fun and talk and joke around but they also like someone that is chill to sometimes so try to find a balance
