I always feel the need to have a boy around me, why do you think that is?

I seem to always crave having a boy to put his arms around me and love me, I am fifteen by the way. If anything, i just want a boy on my mind to obsess over - any interesting ideas why this could be?

I'm the same way, i'm a 15 yr old guy an i always want a girl to talk to, hold and love. And yeah, i always think too hard about people and read into things too much. I guess we're just like that :)

Part of it is your age, hormones, etc. The bigger picture is how you feel about yourself.

You were created in God's image, girl, so cheer up. You're special and important. If the people around you growing up didn't convey that to you it doesn't change the fact and you don't NEED a boy to confirm that.

You're a unique and special individual. Boys are great; you just don't have to have one to be the gem you are.

Sometimes females feel they need to be in love.  This can be due to a lack of a close relationship with your father or father figure.  A lot of my friends growing up have divorced parents (as I do) and kind of jumped from one relationship to another throughout their dating lives looking for something but not knowing what that is.  Save yourself some trouble...be young, get good grades in school, have fun with your friends, join a sport.  Boys are usually looking for one thing and that can break your heart.  They take a long time to mature also...

Concentrate on yourself and have fun being young.  You will probably not meet Mr. Right until you have been in college for a few years or even into your working life after college.  Don't stress on it.

9 daughters is spot on.  You are a gem, and I wish there were more like you, especially closer to my age.

I only hope you find a boy that is worthy of you and of your love.  Your peril is that you will fall for someone who will treat you like rubbish, and I think that is terribly unfair. So if you can, hold back just enough to take a good look at him, and if he seems a nice lad who can love and respect you, then dive in and go for it.

As for the others - well there are some nasty people in the world too, and I have been called names often enough here.  There's one in every village, as the old saying goes.
