Is it illegal that all my bank cards etc have Sir ....

I am not a Sir

In fact I hate the monarchy, and most of the inbred areistocrats who get such titles.

However, I have got into quite a few places with these cards, it's a door opener, that's for sure

  1. Try, "esquire" instead.

    It's more legal.

  2. If you gain advantage from using a title you do not have then in many circumstances you could be obtaining a pecuniary advantage and committing an offence which carries imprisonment under the theft act.

  3. i think people will just think you are a bit of an idiot, and they pity you too much to make any laws against it.

  4. We had to call our male teachers "Sir", but I doubt that any of them put that title on their bank cards!

  5. Wow.

  6. technically you can call yourself anything you want ..........michael jackson has a son called "prince" similar with "prince nazim hammed the boxer...........it's the people who see who are being s****. as it affects the way they treat you it's a bit of a grey area though with the bank cards men can have esq which is short for esquire  so who knows ............................if you end up in the old bailey  we will find out ...............................however you will not get the privileges of title of you child getting married at westminster abbey .............that they would check

  7. Not illegal and why not take advantage.

One of the Chipperfield's circus family has the christian name Lord, he gets all the perks!

  8. Not illegal unless you used the pretence to gain a material benefit - but very silly!

  9. It's never wrong to be a k**b-head!

I may do that on my next one LOL!

  10. yes

  11. It is illegal only if you intend to deceive in order to gain a pecuniary advantage or to impersonate a living person.

Please do not make generalisations about things of which you know nought. I am neither inbred nor any of the other things you seem to imagine applies to folk like me.

  12. It is very wrong of you to impersonate something that you are not. You continue to bring the spotlight on your very poor values and morals by impersonating something you say you hate;you further the error by publicizing your misdeeds at this site!

It is sad that you have shown yourself in a highly unflattering light.

  13. lol. Why should u not be called Sir.

Sir/Madam - its just a form of address.

    U fraud u.

Somebody had the idea in the past and look where it got them - King. So what the h**l is it all about?????????

  14. You are a Mr.  Sir should only be used as courtesy by sales staff, or if you have actually been bestowed the title by being knighted.  I am surprised that anywhere has allowed you to use it.
