  1. You can listen music, read book, paint a picture .. etc.. :))

  2. You can find many things to do...watch a nice movie, listen to your favorite music or chat on the internet...try englishbaby chat:

    http://www.englishbaby.com/

  3. You could try searching this very question in the hobbies and crafts section. Someone gets on and asks this at least once a day. You could probably spend the whole of next weekend doing that, and the rest of your weekends following up some of the suggestions.

I'm off to SCA (http://www.sca.org) fighter training today. We're learning rapier, and my hubby is doing some archery too. Rapier is like fencing except way better.

  4. I have a nice site for u where u get  information about All types of HomeSchooling & Free HomeSchooling.I am sure u can't bored here

    http://www.OnlineStudyInfo.com

  5. Why don't you buy a card making kit and make your own christmas cards for your family!!!!

  6. Why not join a local sports club, rowing is a very accessible sport if like me you have no co-ordination so you can't kick, hit or catch a ball! But any sport will get you out meeting new people, having fun, may be even competing and when you get home from practice you'll be tired and enjoy some quiet time relaxing. You'll also have social events, fund raisers and new friends to visit all weekend!

If you don't fancy something physical what about a saturday job - you'll meet new people and get extra pocket money and again there'll be social things to do, or may be the Duke of Edinburghs award scheme, or scouts/guides, or even visiting and volunteering at a local hospital or hospice or home for the elderly.

The extra plus to all these things is that they look great on CVs and University applications!

  7. Hey, I know how you feel. I get bored quite a lot too sometimes! xD

Anyway, I suggest taking up some dance classes, drama classes, joining a book club, or a club for some kind of sport that you're interested in.

Even try searching for dance parties in your area, they're great fun!

If you're not interested in the social scene (believe me, sometimes it's best to stay out of there while you're having a rough time. xD), what about organising a family picnic, shopping for Christmas presents for your family, taking up a project around the house (get a canvas and some paint, try your hand at art, take up a little gardening, paint your room, rennovate your room, which is always fun, or trying to build something)!

Or if you're more of a book type, try going to your library and picking up books by your favourite authors, or in your favourite genre. And if you like it, why not write or read a fanfiction on it?

www.fanfiction.net provided me with hours of enjoyment!

If you like that, or you're more into writing your own things, try fictionpress.com, which is great.

And if you like to talk to people from all around the world, or learning about other cultures, or you just want to talk to some nice people, sign up for a keypals or penpals website, there are some really great benefits of having a penpal, plus it's always fun to get mail! xD

And, if any of that doesn't sound interesting, try joining online clubs and forums about things that you find interesting. (I've joined a few anime, manga, home schoolers, and teens groups, which were really fun!)

There are loads of things open to home schoolers, seeing as we have so much time on our hands. xD

  8. Get a PS3 or a X-box 360. You will never be bored again

  9. Don't know how old you are, but how about doing some community service tasks.  Certainly there are elderly folks in your area who could use some help with shopping, cleaning their houses or yards for free.   Teens who like to cook or bake can even make some goodies for the elderly and wrap them in freezer wrap and take them over as a special treat.  Or offer to cook up some meals and freeze them for them in individual meal packs.  Some of them can't afford meals on wheels and this is very helpful.  You will also be making a multigenerational friend.

Check with teachers who may live around you.  I know that some of them in our neighborhood go in on weekends to work on their classrooms, some of our local homeschoolers go in to help their neighbors--great on so many levels (the teachers get to see how community minded homeschoolers can be and the homeschoolers get to see a real brick and mortar school up close)

Volunteer to reshelve books at the library. Volunteer at the county animal shelter.  Try asking if they need volunteers at the local hospital--you can always train as a candy striper and it is a really nice thing to do and also to put on your college application.

Just look around your community, there is always a need.  You may be just the one to be someone's angel for a day.

If nothing else, grab some gloves and garbage bags and a couple of siblings or friends and go pick up trash along the street!
