  1. no u propably just dont like number

  2. It may be a form of numerical dyslexia. It is quite common and the fact that you are just realizing  it now means its not that much of a problem. There are games you can play and tests you can take to improve. It may sound stupid but nintendo gameboy have such games. I have dyslexia and how I get over it is just reading and writing. But dont take my word for it, if it really is effecting you seek help.

  3. As someone said before, you could have a slight form of dislexia, but it's more common than you think and there's no need to waste money on testing. Technically the brain can only store, on average, 7 items in short term memory. With some people it's less, which explains why you can't memorize phone numbers well...especially when you already have the frustration of mixing them up.

I do the same thing with numbers and it can get very frustrating. I have to force myself to concentrate extremely hard with numbers and double check everything (especially credit card numbers). I have found that associating the numbers with something (sports numbers, months, etc...)sometimes helps with memorization. So, 5834 becomes Papelbon and Ortiz(Red Sox fan) which is easier for me to remember. Brain games would probably help too, if it didn't make your brain too exhausted.
