If I eat a meal and then go to sleep. Why is that? It might not even be a meal, maybe a small snack. Should I wait a little longer to let the food settle... like 2 hours instead of 1?

  1. I don't see how you can even get to sleep after eating a meal. Your sugar levels should be high thus keeping you awake.

Yeah, you shouldn't eat anything 2 hours before going to sleep. This helps you go to sleep quicker and I guess can prevent acid reflex in your future.

It should also be noted that eating certain foods causes nightmares. So like if you eat a hamburger before going to sleep, you might have a nightmare, as opposed to a salad. But I'm sure you already know this.
