  1. No has nothing to do with the club.  You are probably hooding the club and taking loft off of it.  A 60 or 64 degree provides very little benefit.  If you want to make your 56 act like a 60 just open the face and aim and swing as you normally would it will throw the ball up in the air.  Don't worry about the fact that the face is pointing off to your right.  It will not matter in the long run.  The ball will still go strait.

  2. While i agree witht he answer above, theres one problem the gent does not address, and thats the problem between your ears.

You have now convinced yourself that you are gonna hit that club too far, it doesn't matter what swing changes you make the main problems in your head, put the club away, to replicate the shot do a half swing with a PW. If you can lend a 60/64 degree great, if not just go down the range and practice your touch, little 5/10 yards shots. after you have gained a little more close control, pick that SW back up and away you go.

  3. Get off the roids, man!  Just say NO!

  4. 30 yards

  5. Sounds like your hitting it thin to me a sand wedge has 56 deg of loft and can easily be hit 20-40 yards with different length of backswings. Make sure you play it back a little to ensure downward contact and hit it clean. Tinker with it many shots can be hit with the same club the sand wedge should go 110 yards max its a heavy club so i hit it about 95. In terms of chipping you can use you PW which is 48 deg of loft and not hit it over the putting green in fact you can use every club IN your bag and still not hit it over the putting green.

So stop blading it and use the club as its designed good luck!
