  1. Burton. Their boards tend to hold up better in the park. I love riding in the park and I have a Burton Feather.  (my brother snowboards as well and I work at Ski Pro in Phoenix, so I know a fair amount about guy boards) For a guy I would suggest getting the burton twin or the burton un..inc. both have good flexibility and ride on rails better. If you end up deciding on a Rome I would suggest the Rome Artifact or the Rome Label. Rome tends to be more of a Freestyle board, so for park I would definelty suggest the Burton.

  2. for the people who answered this talking about paying more for the burton name...look again at the prices... you can buy a dominant (its what I ride) for under $400, while all the adult boards other than the cheap trick are $400 or over..oh and buy burton, its the cool thing to do

  3. I would suggest getting the Rome artifact it is super flexy and amazing for nose/tail presses but it's not that forgiving off

    of big jumps.

  4. It depends... I have ridden both companies 08/09 boards for next season and surprisingly Rome's were far superior.  If you are getting last seasons or older go with burton.

  5. burton

  6. They are both nice, but I would take price into consideration since the park is hard on a board.

  7. Burton.

  8. Most of the park guys that I ride with are "anti-Burton."  Many Snowboarders have the skate background which is anti-establishment.  Burton has become the "establishment" in the snowboard manufacturing world.   That is why they won't ride Burton.  I'm sure that Burton makes some good stuff - but I don't ride it either: I can't afford to pay the extra just for the name.  If those are your two choices: go with Rome.

  9. If you like rail riding the main boards to look at made by those two companys are Burton Blunt, Burton Dominant and Rome Artifact. Ive demoed all these boards and they are all good but out of the three personally i would go with the Artifact. In fact its the board i ride at the moment its really light and flexable and great for rails and jibbing. The Blunt and Dominant are similar to the Artifact but are a little bit stiffer. All three boards are easy to ride and are realitivly cheap to buy. Other good jib boards worth checking out are K2 WWW, Ride Kink and Apo Selecta. Good Luck with the riding.
