I always see Phil Dalhausser's name as "top athlete." What about Todd Rogers? I never see his name?

Or his likeness mentioned as "top athlete." What's up with that? Todd Rogers is as good as Phil Dalhausser.

It's probably because Dalhausser shows more feeling than Rogers.  I personally like both of them equal so I don't see any top athlete (only Michael Phelps).  Maybe because Dalhausser is taller, everything counts.

I couldn't agree more with sean, granted I don't have the 10 years of experience that he does. But I love how smart rodgers plays the game. Yea he's not one of the most powerful hitters, but he puts everything in play at good locations and always gives them a chance to win. He avoids any stupid mistakes or mental breakdowns and plays outstanding defense. Plus i've never seen a man at 6'2" get so high over the net throughout a whole match, props to him for being in such good shape.

With all that said, Dalhausser and his bald head still deserve recognition. He's a great compliment to Rodgers and they work really well together.

Phil Dalhausser's amazingly good at what he has to do playing with Rogers:  Blocking, serving, setting, and hitting.  He's certainly the best in the world at blocking and serving.  He's amongst the top five in setting.  He rarely gets served because his hit's are so powerful, and he consistently gets above the block.  He can flat out execute.

Todd Rogers can be seen as the brains of the operation.  He develops in-game strategies, he's the 'coach', and he has to execute passing, and hitting.  No player in the world has a better placed shot than Rogers.  He's the best off-net defensive player in the world.  His game is less showy than Dalhausser, because he doesn't get those momentum swinging blocks, but I think he's equally enjoyable to watch, and equally athletic.  

Great job by both of them bringing the Gold to USA.
