I always stay skinny!?

i am a 12 year old boy, i eat and drink normally but i stay skinny and i don't do exercise very often,so how can i be fat?

  1. well at this point in your life, you have a very healthy metabolism (your ability to take in food and tell you when enough is enough) and usually if you have a healthy eating habits, you don't generally need to exercise as much as adults. but if you don't exercise going into your teens, then you need to start because your metabolism will become less strong, and you may develop eating problems.


  2. You have a HIGH metabolism not a low one. THe higher your metabolism the faster your body processes food or something like that high is fast low is slow.

    Protein and exercise regular so you can get buff or at least some shape

  3. First of all you are 12. When I was that old I could eat anything and not gain a pound. Your metabolism is just fast, be grateful. Just give it a year and you will be a lot bigger.

    If you are talking about gaining size as far as muscle, aside from maybe push-ups, pull-ups, and  sit-ups don't worry about it. You should not lift weights until you are probably 15, depending on how fast you mature.

  5. Your complaining about nothing dude.  There are so many people out there that are obese and can't do anything to help themselves.  Consider yourself blessed.

  6. you can eat more but if you still don't gain weight its because you have a low metabolism and you cant gain alot of weight

  8. You don't want to be fat.

    Your metabolism right now is running FAST.  It's burning up the energy you're getting from food pretty quickly.  But you're on the edge of puberty and things will be changing soon.  Chances are you'll bulk up and put on some muscle, especially if you're getting exercise.

    I have a cousin that when he was your age was 76 pounds, wheezed constantly, and quite honestly looked like a strong gust of wind would blow him over.  By the following summer when he came to visit, puberty had as well and he was about 135, muscled, and it was difficult to see that he was even the same guy!   You may not have such dramatic results, but you can work out and build some muscle mass, which would be healthier for you than "getting fat".

  10. You dont want to have fat dude, believe me. If you're talking about muscle, do sit-ups, push-ups, ya know, the usual.in like 2 months you will start seeing results

  11. You probably have a high metablolism, which won't let you gain weight no matter what you do, it burns it off as fast as you eat. So I think your just suck being skinny for a while.  

  12. You're 12.  You'll have a growth spurt in like a year and then there's nothing to worry about, seriously.

    And by the way, I'm a 16 year old girl who loves skinny guys lol.  Don't freak.

  14. its fine i used to have the same problem when i was your age. and i actually took advantage of the fact. I had the worst diet one can ever have but things change. Few years down the lane i am not fat but i have to take care of my food so enjoy the moment of your life where you can stuff anything in your stomach and nothing happens

  16. alot of boys your age are the same. My 14 yr old brother eats near enough what he likes and doesn't put on weight. its just your metabolisms at the moment.
