Question:

I am 12, and I hate my looks please help?

I weigh 160 pounds I am 5 foot 4 I have a little bigger than average hips and b*****s... I am so fat my shins never get smaller I can't fit into any clothes my stomach fat is only little fat but my thighs are huge.. I have been on a diet for so long but I never loose weight.. I feel suicidal.. I have tempremental acne I use all medicines, and I look hideious I might be paranoid but I never had a boyfriend or had a date.... I would rather die.... my family is rich so they can buy any medicine just nothing that might be lethal...i would buy them please help

    I like to kind of think of it as a lifestyle more then a diet :)

    I have been (dieting ) since I was like 12.

    Dont worry, Im 15 and never had a date either,

    And as to losing weight

    DO THESE THINGS:

    AND IM SURE YOU WILL LOSE IT!!!

    EXERCISE # 1 KEY

    three exercise habits that really work are:

    DANCING , to me is the best exercise! jump up and down dance to Rock, HipHop music, have fun with it, pretend you having a concert dance & sing :)

    SWIMMING: swimming is exercise for all parts of one's body.

    SIT UPS, PUSH UPS, JUMPING JACKS- normal exercise.

    EATING HABITS-

    just eat one serving of BREAD a day no more.

    Instead of WHITE RICE eat BROWN RICE.

    NO DESSERT! & if you have a craving get LOW CARB ICE CREAM, LIKE WEIGHT WATCHERS..

    NO COKES! NO SUGARY DRINKS!

    Drink ice tea or green tea with splenda or sweet and low.

    DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!

    TIP: CARBS like whit rice, bread, ect. Turn into a pile of sugar when it enters your stomach, which creates fat :( SO THAT IS WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH THE CARBS,

    NO MORE THEN 45 CARBS PER MEAL :)

  3. well don't kill yourself all you have to do is workout at least 30 minutes...try walking 15 minutes a day

  4. Don't resort to suicide, even if you are fat, which you don't sound like you are, there are other ways. I am not an expert on dieting, but don't give up.

    -1rst thing don't starve your self on a diet or IT WILL make it worst.

    -2nd take small portions off food every day breakfeast ,diner ,a SMAL  

    lunch and a super. Thoug you have to keep it small but not to mutch.

    beacause your body have cells that eat the sugar that you eat, that's what make you active but wen you don't feed those cells the muliply

    and multiply that's what makes you fater, so remember to eat but not over-eat just what you need to pass the say.

    -3rd I know, every body says that but its true if you eat more vegetables than meat you will lose weight FASTER, but remember to eat meat at least 1-2 times a week.

    -4rth Go to your local GYM it will help you trust me.

    -5fth Resist temtation! beacause a Mc donald's hamburger can ruin a week of work out!

Well don't expect fast results this is what my cousin told me to do i lost weight but gained some so he gave me this advice, eat breakfast, if your body doesn't get energy in the first 2 hours of when u wake up then next time u eat then they are like we need to save this so were turning this into fat so if u eat healthier like 4-6 times a day but healthy stuff like, cereal in the morning, then sandwich at lunch then some fruit as a snack, no soda, no fatty foods, work out in the morning too but start off small like a couple of push ups and situps then do some sports, or walk, even if it's just a mile, that's a mile you didn't do the other days, also remember losing weight takes time don't expect fast results so eat healthy and stay active find a sport you like, i personally like tennis, and dancing just find the right thing for you, dont' kill yourself either there's so many things you haven't experienced yet and throwing it away is bad.

  8. So your family is rich, buy a tread mill and get on it and walk the weight off. Sounds to me like you might be lazy. The only way to get skinny is to be active. Do you have a pool too? How about swimming? There is no excuse in the book to not exercise. It all starts with you. Hey I'm 5'5" and weigh 168. No problem. There is so much pressure to be thin, it doesn't matter what age you are. I suffered from anorexia for years. Sure I was thin, but I damaged my body permanently as a result. Totally not worth it. You have to like who you are away from the mirror and the scale. You never see your self the way others see you.

      Honestly, I thought I'd gained 20 lbs over the last 6 weeks. I just kept eating what ever I wanted. I got my period, and when it ended I just kept looking at myself in the mirror, thinking how bad I looked. I really beat myself up over it for about 3 weeks. I got weighed at the doctor today, I had gained just 2 lbs. So don't beat yourself up take it easy!

      Do your very best, and give yourself credit. Loosing weight can be a life time battle, so what. A lot of people have a big body, I do. I also have a boyfriend. There are guys out there who aren't looking for a barbie doll girlfriend. And the ones that are, they're missing out on real beauty. The kind that comes from a good person. Like you, and me.

  9. Ok. I don't know what diet you have been on.

    But if your parents will pay for you to sign up.

    I highly suggest weight watchers!

    I'm almost 20 now.

    But when I was 12 almost 13. I started weight watchers.

    I was 5 foot and 145 lbs. I stuck to the weight watchers plan.

    It was the end of my 6th grade year, that summer...going to 7th grade I had lost weight. When middle school started I had lost 25 lbs in just a couple of months. I stuck on it. It helps. I would also suggest staying for the meetings, but if not that's fine. But if you chose weight watchers stick to the plan. I suggest the 'flex' plan.

    You can eat anything you want, BUT you have to count points.

    like I said, if you chose that you need to figure out how to do it.

    It's hard at first, but once you get going, it will get easier, you will probably be hungry for a bit, but that's because your body isn't use to not eating AS much.

  11. Just remember you are 12 when you get older your face will start to clear up and you will start to loose weight, your waist will thin out. You will also get taller seeing how you are 5'4 for a 12 years old, which means you will streach out more. Remember portion control and count calories, dont worry kiddo you will be just fine. If you are really concerned you can join weight watchers, its a great program that shows results. Dont think about killing yourself, you have so much to look forward to in life. Goodluck,

  13. dont worry bout not gettin a date rite now wen i was 12 i had never been on a date and bein almost 16 now iv only had 1 bf so dont worry bout it wen the rite guy comes he will like u for u and not how u look

    also we are our own worst critics how many times will u come on here and read questions like am i prett, im so ugly, omg am i fat and all that kinda stuff its because wen we're younger we dont hav alot of self-esteam especially wen ur 12 years old so wen u look in the mirror u may be like ewwwwww gross but im sure if u put a pic of urself up everybody would say that ur gorgeous and im sure u r

    if u really r stuck on losin wieght then try goin on a diet (i dont know much about that kinda stuf so im sorry if im not much help)

    but wa i do know is that u should eat a healthy breakfast in the mornin so ull hav energy and then go take a walk ur get some kinda excersise( i know i work at a dance studio and we get people from all ages come in to lose wieght and it really works the build confidence and lose some weight the fun way) also try swimmin its fun and refreshin:P

    as for ur skin (this i am good at :P)

    wash ur face at least twice a day and use a moisturizer on it, avoid touchin ur face as much as possible durin the day and keep ur hands clean

    if u wear makeup the make sure its oil free and throw it out every6 months also eat a ton of yello and orange vegetables (i cant remember wats in them but its somethin thats really good for ur skin plus for ur wight) also drink lots and lots of water

  14. What is the definition of beauty anyways?! It's only what YOU think of it. You sound absolutely beautiful to me. When I was in middle school I felt the same way.  I had no friends and thought that I looked horrible. I know how it feels but it will pass. Just look in the mirror everyday and tell yourself that you ARE beautiful the way you are. Good luck sweetheart and if you feel suicidal talk to someone you can trust and get help.  

  15. 1. your 12. still got plenty of time to get a date (im not saying you're too young, im just saying you haven't gotten one yet because you're young and haven't really gotten the chance)

    2. diets rarely actually work. just work out. play sports, walk for 30 minutes a day, crunches will really help.  you still watch what you eat, but doing that alone probably won't get you very far. and it will take some time but when you see your pants fitting looser you'll be motivated to keep going. 160 for 5ft 4ins is kinda overweight, but its not really fat. i think the normal weight for 5ft 4, is 115-130. so yea, it will take some time and effort but it'll pay off in the end. just DO NOT go on one of those freaky no eating diets. yes, they do work, but they can make you very sick. anorexia, and other eating disorders and it can just damage your body. so just keep working at it, cut back on junk food, and you'll see some results, probably within a few weeks.  good luck!
