I am 12 and i still play with dolls!?

Hi. I am like 12 and I don't play with dolls anymore, but I WANT to so bad! Is 12 too old? is there anyone out there as old as me or older that still likes dolls??? the worst part is that I am really mature!!! and i think maybe i play sometimes because i want to be a teacher when i grow up and i play school sometimes. but im really embarrased about it. im getting to the point where im embarrased to have my mom see me. any help is serioulsly needed. i havent played in so long. and if you watch roseanne even though she is cancelled, i am alot like darlene. huge tomboy. if you want you can IM me im on right now, but i dont know how to im. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I'm 75 and I think it is refreshing these days that you still like your dolls! If you feel embarrassed, why not decide to become a collector of dolls and that way you can always keep an eye out for more and your family and friends would probably contribute to your collection. Many people collect things and get a lot of enjoyment out of their choice.

You're never too old to play with dolls, I'm 23 years old and i still play with action figures with my nephew...you gotta do what makes you happy and not care what anyone thinks.

I am 16 year old and still play with superhero toys like justce league, batman, g. i. joe, pok'emon, naruto,etc.

No matter whatever anybody says, I continue playing with them.

Even my Girlfriend and friends know that.

Do you know that older children who play with toys are considered to be more creative and intellegent according to some studies ?

I know it's OK to play with toys no matter whatever your age may be.

Looking back at when I used to play with my toys, I realize that I would make plots and stories with them. Maybe you like the creative part of playing with your dolls, like I did, in which case I would suggest writing. Who knows, you might end up being a pretty good storyteller.

Why should u care of what others will say? People will always open their mouth no matter what we do. If playing with your dolls make u happy, by all means just do it.

Im 31 & I still (at times) play with my Lego toys & some of my action figures from childhood (yup, they're still in good condition but I dont intend to sell them, though many have asked me to).

No one is going to see you, not that it should matter!

Your a kid ( so am i ), don't waste your childhood

You can only be a kid once, so do what you enjoy!!

And your mom is probably happy that you are playing with dolls and

NOT doing bad stuff, so go ahead and play all you want!

my cousin Abigail loves dollls and she is sixteen. i think that you should ignore your pride, and play with whatever you want. if you WANT to play with dolls so much, than go ahead and do your thing!!!

hey  i m 12 too! i just got those barbie dolls last year! and yet again, i want to be a teacher when i grow up! do u have a sister or something??cauz i play with my sister the teacher game! playing with dolls can help you in your life like be a fashion designer or something. so dont be ashame of it!! i used to play with barbies the teacher game and when i baby sit, i improved my teaching skills! now i m teaching my mom how to speak english. so go on! who  cares! your mom will understand you and maby sprport you. no matter who saids wat, i am going to be a teacher when i grow up!
