  1. Ask your mom or someone adult to see what the problem with it!

  2. i use Tampax Pearl because it glides in really easily other than just regular tampax with the cardboard. yuckkk they feel so weird.

Playtex Sport also has that easy applicator and is also better for sports and if you're busy.

    :)

    Good Luck

  3. i hate them too! haha. ok, i will explain in the best way i can:

    1. take off your underwear and lay down.

    2. this may seem REALLY gross but since you cant get them in right try this. hold the tampon in one hand and sort of "drag" it from your butt to your v****a, there will be a little "dip" and that is the hole that you put it in.

    3. once you find that then gently press in the tampon, but dont start actually pushing the actual tampon part in yet.

    4. once the whole thing is inside a little start to push down on the applicator and wabam! its in.

if you have it in correctly you shouldn't be able to feel ANYTHING, its a pretty cool feeling =) dont worry if you cant get it in the first time, just practice a lot, get a big box of tampons. the instructions also help out.

    good luck!

  4. You could be putting it in the wrong way, but also you might be getting the wrong size. When you are inserting the tampon, you have to be relaxed for it to go in correctly. It shouldn't hurt, but it could be uncomfortable the first few times.

hope this helps, best of luck.

  5. Not to be graphic or disgusting but try putting on of your legs up on the edge of the bathtub.  That should help you get it in further.

  6. you have to be relaxed i had the same problem um it may sounds gross but try to not even think about it and make sure you are not flexing or making it tight.

  7. I use Pearl by Tampax and they glide in easily.

Put one leg on the toilet cover seat and keep the other one down.

Then, put the plastic inside as far as you feel comfortable. Don't be afraid to move it around a little bit or go further in.

Start pushing the plastic in (along with the tampon), while holding the bottom part of the plastic.

When you have inserted the tampon, take the plastic out completely.

Like I said, don't be afraid to move it further up. Sorry for being too graphic!

  8. I know what you mean!  I went through that same thing with pads!  I hate those things!  Ok, when it comes to tampons, it all depends on what kind you use, and how you are sitting when you put it in.  Since you are young, I would suggest a plastic applicator.  They have smooth tips and slide in easily.  Personally, Tampax Pearl is my fav.  Now when you are ready to insert it, make sure you are holding it correctly with your thumb and middle finger.  Spread your legs and relax your lower body as much as possible.  With your free hand, use 2 fingers to separate your inner lips so that your vaginal opening is exposed.  Then instert the tampon gently, you may have to rotate it a little or it may feel like you have to push it passed something, this is normal as long as it doesn't hurt.  Once your thumb and middle finger are against your body, push in the tampon with your index finger.  Again, you may have to rotate or re-angle it a little while doing that.  This should work.  And trust me, I know, I went through the same thing with them not going in and hating the pads!

If you still have problems try getting some "slims" or "slinder" tampons.  They may also be called junior, but they are skinner and should be easier.  But remember a plastic aplicator, they are more expensive but worth it!  And be sure you are using the right size too!  Don't use a super if a regular will do.  And a regular is usually the best size to start out with.

    Good luck!

And enjoy the freedom from the pads!
