  1. your parents can pay a unacompanied minor fee the prices can range up to 100$ dollars roundtrip or 118$ , 100$ per leg of flight it mostly depends on the airlines but i've been flying by myself for years and im 14 but there pollices changed so if your gonna be 14 then you prob. dont have to pay a fine and look at a map of the airport to make sure you know were to go and wat airport in newyork are you going to i used to live there so i could prob. help you!

  2. keep your guard up/ i did this too when i was 13.  i got extra special treatment as im sure you will too.

  3. Just watch your stuff and watch your back at all times.  Trust your instincts.  Look like you are going somewhere when you walk, do not show signs of fear.

  4. just relax, stay cool, and don't talk 2 any strangers unless they work there.

  5. wear something nice...u never know who ur gonna meet! xD lol

  6. just stay calm and cool :)

or else youll seem vulnerable to the creeps that are out there

as long as youre (or seem) confident it'll be perfectly fineee

    gooodluck! :)

  7. Haha wow,, i wud love that. Dntt worry.. it will be fun =P x

  8. if you are lost in the airport, try not to look confused or stressed and go to someone who works there or at the very least go to someone who has kids your age or younger

    keep track of your stuff

    travel as light as possible

    have funnnnnnn:)

  9. stay alert at all times!

and don't hesitate to start SCREAMING if you need to!!

    mgb

  10. Mmm, it's not that bad, i did it when i was 11 i think... anyways, just bring a lot of like games or a blanket or maybe some money for the airplane peanuts, and if your going to i think the back with all the other alone kids, don't be shy try talking to them, your not ever going to see them again, but if your going in your own row, then tell the lady in the next row she  has a nice shirt or something, it helps you knowing your at least talking to someone and it's good for her that she got a complaint

    GOOD LUCK!!!

  11. u sound exactly like me! im 13 and goin from tampa to new hampshire by myself in a couple of weeks :)   and i have been 2 europe 2!! but never flown by myself.   i would bring an ipod or nintendo ds/gameboy/psp   whateva u want:))   is it a nonstop flight? im jus guessin here  that ur goin on jetblue   cuz they hav nonstop flights   but ne ways  its only about an hour and a half    im takin a 3 hour nonstop flight  dont worry there mite b other children flying alone!! just try to see if u can sit next to them or something. the flight attendants will come and check up on u every once in a while!! and once you get use to it   it will be funn!!! good luck! have fun!!

  12. try to sit next to elderly grandparents they always make me feel more comfortable and try to sit by a window and put your bag on the seat next to you unless it is a full flight and they make you move it

  13. don't talk to any strangers and watch your back don't trust anyone there are a lot of bad people in the world that look good but are not

  14. maybe you can get the flight attendent to help you get your stuff and they take care of you..

just when your at the desk were u leave your bags... tell them that you want someone to hellp you  when you get over there and u pay i think 30 bucks and thats it..

    its better that way.... =)

  15. Just watch your stuff and watch your back at all times. Trust your instincts. Look like you are going somewhere when you walk, do not show signs of fear.

  16. try to be in public places ,always around people like  souvenir stores, waiting rooms, coffee shop......go to the airline counter and check out for your flight so they will know they expect you....let them know youre flying alone ,never enter a bathroom alone.....or empty....

  17. I remember, when i had to to go on the plane when i was 11 to visit my grandparents in Florida. I was nervous too. The most important thing to remember is to be careful of strangers. When you get there, unlike the adults, the flight attendants usually hold your hand through the whole process of checking your passport, finding your seat, and so on. They also like to put kids near the front of the plane, so they can watch you.Just be sure to be respectful of the people around you, and use your manners. Have fun!

    YESS I'M  ##3

    lol jk

but try not to let anyone sit by you. don't go with anyone. if someone starts following you walk up to a big guy to make them think it's your father so they wont hurt you. just be careful. make it fun. pretend you're going to hollywood lol

  19. yeah just do wat u normally would do.... don't talk to any guys cuz u'll never see em again.... don't be a troublemaker and try to not look scared cuz then you nwould just bring lots of tension on yourself... just think like ahhhh by the time i turn 14 imma be like haha and tio think i was scared to go on my own... i wish i were to go alone.... and im 14... but my friend went alone and she is 14 also... just think positive and be polite.... try not to eat right b4 your about to get on the plane... bad experiences.... good luck and have a great flight mija...

  20. don't talk to anyone around you no matter how friendly but dont be rude. if you feel in danger ask the plane staff for help, keep belongings near, and if u have a phone keep that near if you need to make an emergency call (in the airport of course).try to stay focus on your surroundings (try not to fall asleep or stare out the window for long times)

good luck and be safe. also try to sit near the front if you can

  21. ok!

so i went in a plane ride from Green Bay, Wisconsin to Germany (which is in Europe) by myself. i did it when i was about 10 or so but i would get something to do. like i would get a gameboy or something...maybe bring an ipod if you have one. the pilots will know ur alone so they will be constantly asking you questions and then for me, i was walked to my next flight by the cops or some ppl idk! but its really not that scary. its just a little lonely so just talk to who you are by and if you sit next to a japenese person like i did...well...then...have fun i guess! but for me on the way home from germany when i was alone again, there were 2 other kids that were about 14 or so and i was really scared of them but it turned out they were alone too so we played the board game trouble together! they always put the kids that are traveling alone next to the other kids that are traveling alone so don't worry about it so much...i did it once and im not afraid to do it again! have fun!

  22. just make sure you always have ur eye on ur stuff...

and dont let anyone sit with you if u dont have to

    NEVER  talk to strangers

make friends wih the flight attendant...they will b able to protect u and stuff

                   hope i can help !!!

  23. I have flown alone before, but I did it when I was 12 I think.  But they had to put like this stupid like sticker badge thing on me & I had to go to this kids waiting room because I didn't have a straight flight.  You'll be fine.  Trust me. :)  The worst that can happen is having to sit next to people that really suckk.
