I am 13 and a bit over weight, i feel girls wont see me as me?

Question

everyone at my school ignores me cuz i am "fat"... i think i am that fat but i guess it makes me totally unattractive... is it me... or the girls?

The world can be a really cruel place and unfortunately not every person on this earth is nice. Unfortunately some people probably do avoid you because of your weight.

There are lots of other people out there that don't give a d**n about how much you weigh or what you look like and have either never approached you because A. they're too shy and aren't good at making conversation with new people (there are a lot of people like this), or B. because you lack self confidence and your body language is telling them to stay away from you.

If you want more people at school to talk to you could try going up to someone who is by themself and starting a conversation with them. I bet they'd appreciate it! You could also try and feel better about yourself and accept you exactly how you are.

unfortunately that is how it is at school when you have a weight issue. I lived thru it and so can you. dont run and hide. do you feel good about yourself? i dont think so. you need to do something about your weight as it is making you unhappy. I would suggest that you get your mum to take you to the doctor and just check you out, sometimes its not how much you eat but a health condition. then you start monitoring how you eat and cut down your meal portions, take the dog for a walk, instead of catching the bus at the nearest stop to your house get on three blocks down. and slowly do more exercise and most importantly look everyday in the mirror and tell yourself that you are special.

Come on. Dont say that.! Everybody has got some special features. All you need to do is discover yourself how good you are and at what.

I too had a friend in school who was plump but everybody loved him.

The reason he was always happy never sulked always helpful.Good at grades.Smart. He knew the latest happenings and was all the teachers favourite.He wasnt good at sports but the rest of them awed at him for his intelligence and speedy way to resolve math and physics sums.

My dentist is fat I liked him as he was friendly happy and smiling.!!

You could always see the best in yourself.Be confident and proud about the characters that you possses.

About being fat.Good you atleast have got the guts to accept and say that you are fat.And dear this is all baby fat ..It will vanish in the years to come if you have a healthy food and live a healthy lifestyle.

You're thirteen-years-old, you'll realize that a relationship at thirteen is not needed or the best thing in time. Work on YOU, not someone else. If you're overweight do something about it. sometimes being mildly overweight doesn't even effect what girls think of you. One of my teachers was like 5"8 and around 210 and he looked pretty ******* good.

Or haha, think of Tony Soprano. He's tubby and look at all the goomars he gets:P

Those girls are usually still immature and have probably not gone through puberty yet.. As you get older, you will get girls falling for you from who you are within because as we grow up some of us get less shallower.

The girls. my best friend is overweight and im 16, nearlly 17. i wouldn't change her though. i was decent wnough to get to know her and i luv her to pieces now haha. she took me under her wing when i started my new school and i came out of my shell. now im conident and a loud mouth ( a good one though ). shes the best mate you could ever ask fro
