I am 13 and i am having a weird pain plz help me?

i am 13 and like last night or the night b 4 i got this sharp pain on my lower left side of my body like by my hip bone kinda.......could this be my period starting???? i have never had my period yet but idk........any one who can help me plz idk wat to do!!!!!!!!

You wern't releasingan egg. That would be ovulation and not your period starting. My doctor said that you can get those pains up to four months before your period starts. But most likley you are going to start is soon.

Could just be growing pains, your kinda at that puberty age.

yeah your probably getting it, tomorrow you might see a load of blood dont freak out, its always heavy in the begininng and you will feel a lot of pain, take midol teen formula and you should be gud :)

I remember gettin that same pain and when i went to my doctor she said I'm gonna get my period next month and she was right so yeah I really think its ur period start wearin pantiliners and ur @ dat age

You're fine. Simply tell your mom, and just be like, mom, I think I'm ovulating. Ovulating means that the egg is coming out of your ovary to begin the menstrual cycle. You're fine. Just ask your mom to help you prepare for it, just in case it does happen, you're at the age you know! Your period will come in a matter of days or like two weeks if you are ovulating. You're fine. More than likely, it's just your period starting. I started my period at 13. I know how scary it is and I remember I had cramps for days before mine started. Talk to your mom or whoever you feel comfortable talking to and they can help you get some pads or tampons to get you ready. Welcome to womanhood :)
