  1. How wonderful! I thought I was the only one who had this problem!

Although I still haven't broken out of that habit yet (I'm really close, though), I suggest that you just start calling them 'mum 'n dad' as often as possible. Once that has become a natural habit, then you just have to remember to NOT call them 'mummy 'n daddy'.

Besides, it isn't THAT embarrassing to call 'em that. :P

  2. I well remember the time my daughter stopped calling me Mummy and called me Mum for the 1st time. She was exactly the same age as you.

I immediately thought "Wow, she is growing up!" and wants me to accept it. So I did. So I became a Mum instead of a Mummy and I grew to like it very much.

    I hope this helps.

Keep on doing it. Mum and Dad will accept it & be proud of you.

    Best wishes, xx
