and try to be in school musicals etc.

and if you get an agent remember the only thing theyre suppsoed to get paid is 20 % from anythign you make during tv shows commercials movies etc. thts it your not supposed to pay them to represent you

Audition for musicals at local theater first.

Then I would move on to auditioning for competitions for singing and then for talent scouts. The compettion for the taalent scout would have many agents, record companys, etc. to help you into the buisness.

A casting director in NY told me the only way to really get famous and into the buisness without all of these competions is by living in NY or LA.

You could try out for American Idol... Now is a great time, considering that they are on their trans-seasonal break.

Hey, even if it doesn't work out, at least you tried... what's the harm in that?

EDIT: Wait, there's an age limit for Idol, isn't there? (sorry; I don't watch the show often). You could always wait a couple years until you meet the age requirements. If your voice is as good as you convey it to be, it would be worth the wait, wouldn't you say?
