Okay so I've tried to earn money a million different ways in my neighborhood. The only thing is that I ALWAYS make flyers and I even go door-to-door handing them out in person but I never get anyone to respond but maybe 1 or 2 people. Does anyone know ANY better way to get business?

  1. oh my god i saw the first bit of your questiona nd died laughing.

    ok

why dont you try something a bit more - no offence - useful? like..idk mowing the lawn or waking the dogs or baby siting or typical american stuff..

sell freaking lemonade and swtich to hot chocolate in winter?

consider yourself lucky. here in thailand you've got to be over 18 to get a job - even if it's a part time icecream parlour one.

  2. Give them some sort of incentive.

Buy one get one free - adjust your prices accordingly.

Offer up 25% of your proceeds to a local charity.  People are sometimes more responsive to charity/donations that just straight work.

Offer to pull weeds from walkways if they pay for two or more up front.

There are a lot of complimentary small things you can/could do to make it more enticing for a potential buyer.

  3. you are only 13 so you have a good start.. you now need to start networking... you need to use word of mouth,,, always ask the people you actually work for if they know anyone that needs your assistance... have your parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents hang them up at work... you dont have a car and you arent really old enough to "work" legally so keep working hard and go door to door,,, always carry your trimmers to keep the freaks away when you go door to door.

  4. I was just like you when I was your age. I knew I wouldn't find a job that pays well right away, so I started off as a paperboy, delievering newspapers door to door 2 times a week. It was pain in the a.ss, but fortunately, my mom helped me everytime. I earned 60 to 70 bucks a month and I think that was pretty good for a middle schooler. When I turned 16, I applied for a part time job at a mall, and got hired right away because I had previous job experience.

So dude, start out with something simple. If nobody want you to trim their bushes, then do something like mow their lawn or deliever newspapers!
