I am 13 years old and want to start babysitting. Is it legal for me to baby sit evenings?

the people i want to baby sit for live across the road from me so my parents will be near by. They also know and trust me very well but my mum says its illegal to baby sit at my age

i dont think its illegial. well it isnt where i live.

you said "mum" so it sounds like you live in europe. if you do, i have no way of knowing if its illegial there. but it isnt where i live in the us.

If you want to do it as a little extra money, every now and then as a favor to the neighbors and not as a permanent job, no. It is not illegal. If you want to create a permanent job out of it, you need a worker's permit. You can get them at you school or the city hall.
