I am 14 1/2 and need a job over the summer! Any Suggestions?

I live in Raleigh, NC.My dad said that he wont let me work at a fast food place..... but if you know any fast food places, that will be fine. I really would like to work in a clothing store if possible!

pick tobacco. you will make a killing.  you have to be 16 to work in a restaurant or business in my state. i don't know about yours.

How about chores for neighbors?  I think that you're too young to be working (I'm pretty sure that 16 is the legal age), but you could always do stuff like cut grass or babysit.

Most establishments won't let you work for them unless your 16, so cross clothing store off your list because it's illegal. The only thing i can suggest to you is babysit or do yard work (yuck). Sometimes, if your lucky enough to know the owner of a small buisness like a deli, they may let you help out.

Check out your county's recreation center's they will need day counselors to work in their day  camps with young children.

caddy, bagger, corn detasseling (if there are any farms around there), mow lawns (20-30 dollars a job), babbysit, walkdogs, take care of good neigbor's houses on vacation, lemonade (classic), hot dogs, hotdogs with lemonade, weeding, other odd jobs
