  1. Sounds like you are pretty good.   As for tournaments, you definitely should compete in them if not for the trophy, it will give you great experience and you will meet and learn from a lot of young golfers your age that are REAL good.

    Check with your local golf courses for junior tournaments and clubs.

  2. I'm 16 and I play on the high school team and shoot a lot higher than that.  I would go for the high school team to get your feet wet and then go from here.

  3. You will never know if you don't try. There are junior tournaments run by First Tee, USJGA, your state organization as well  as  clubs and organizations.Check out the public links as well and participate when and wherever you can. Get the experience.

  6. i was doing about the same at that age and yeah i competed in tournaments  my best finish was 2nd

    you should meet lot of golfer can learn from them
