I hit my driver about 200-250 and my putting is excellent, my irons are getting better but still working on them, I am currently involved in a golf league. Will people notice me on a summer golf league. I've won 2007's junior golf tournament at Whispering Pines. Do I have a chance of becoming a pro golfer?

  1. Well if you can hit 200+ and are a great putter you should be shooting a way better score than that. But to answer your question yes if you try hard enough you could become a pro. Never give up and have a hard work ethic

  2. Sounds like you can ya...theres a really good chance but what is your average of 18holes

  3. well i hit 45 for 9 holes and i'm a beginner, so we have the same ratio of holes to strokes if you see what i'm getting at and i don't think i have much of a chance to be a pro golfer but thats just me

  4. it doesn't matter what you shoot in 6 holes, it matters what you shoot in 18. Why are playing only 6 holes. lmao. lmao. Anything is possible my friend, keep on trucking.

  5. Yes you can. You will have to work very hard. Golf is a mental game. You have to master your course management and practice consistency, once you can do this than you will be surprised by your results. You are 14, so you haven't fully developed as yet, you strength will come. Try to complete in as many competitions as you can as this will also help develop you mentally, get lessons from a pro. and don't take advice from players who have high handicaps as they will fill your head up with rubbish. Good luck

  6. why you only playing 6 holes???    Keep practicing and spend as much time on the range as you can, pros are made on the range, not the course...  Get a good golf coach to work with and practice as much as you can, most the pros grew up with a country club membership, Phil Mickelson had real deal putting green in his backyard....   Right now you're playing bogey golf, 30 divided by 6 is 5 which times 9 equals 45, thats bogey golf, I'm surprised that was good enough to win but keep practicing and you can do it, good thing is you can get on tour at any age really...

  7. i say maybe. If you continue the same streak(good) then you would have a chance. If you  think negative or slack off then you probably wont. Either way youre gonna have to work hard. GOOD LUCK

  8. if you pratice a lot and get a few lessons to see where you can improve in your shot i think that you might be able to make it

  9. probably not cause ud be shooting a 90 for 18 holes, so in less u can shave 18 strokes off ur game and start driving the ball much better. then maybe u can make the tour.

  10. you are young - work hard and u can become a pro

  11. I think now is not the time to make the judgement. Now is the time for you to have fun with the game and enjoy yourself. If you have the desire to become a pro and you have the passion for the game of golf and you have the desire to become a pro golfer, than yes; maybe you can become a pro. I would certainly recommend working hard through high school & trying to get a scholarship to college as that way you can hone your game AND your mind. An education is more imprtant that your short game as that can never "go bad on you on the last 18 holes of a tournament". Best of luck to you and don't forget to have fun with your golf!

  12. It depends on how hard the course is that you said you got a 30 over 6 holes on.

If it's hard, I wouldn't count out your chances
