  1. If you are a girl, that is an average time. If you are a boy, that is far below average. I am 13 and run a 5:35, and know 14 year olds that run below 5 minutes. You need to aim for at least below 6

  2. thats pretty good, keep working hard and try to improve it as much as you can.

  3. Well done. Keep at it. I love running. It takes me about 8 minutes at a steady pace.

  4. GOOD 4 YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  5. Ok, well I am a runner and its my 14th birthday in 2 weeks so i can help! lol

I have two words for you TRAIN HARD!! When I was 12 I did my 1500 metre in 5 min 21 sec, which isn't bad i supose but I really wanted to get it under 5 min 10 sec, so i trained my socks off! That is the key. You need to be dedicated if you want to get faster n it isnt easy, but you will get there if you really want to do it.

Also make the most of the it because I had to stop when I was nearly 13 because of a knee inury & I had to stop for a year and I have lost all my fitness and everything :( but I am getting back to it again now n I am putting every spare second of the day into training so I can get faster.

If you don't belong to an athletic or running club I strongly advise you go to one because it helps sooo much!

Start by aiming for about 15 secs off your time and keep doing that every time you get a PB remember the lower you aim the harder it will be but try and make it a realistic aim.

Good Luck & I wish you all the best with your running x*x

  6. its alot better than me i have never finished it iv started it afew times but never got to the finish line im 17 and suffer from black outs and fainting when running

  7. why 1500 meters? why not just one mile...haha sorry i just dont really understand that..and yeah thats an okay time but u can do better. my friend (shes 14) runs the mile, and out of our mile runners she is usually 2nd to last, and she can run a full mile in that time. so u can prob do a lot better.

  8. BREAD MAKES ME p**p

  9. yeah thats average, my track team runs miles, not 1500..that number seems odd to me.. that would be 3.75 laps around the trackk considering every lap is 400...

i am also a girl so the time for our mile is 6:20 or less.

boys are supposed to do it in even less like 5:30 so now that i think of it if you are a boy that is pretty badd... but if you are a girl that is average

so keep working at it aim for 6:00 if you are a girl and 5:30 if you are a boy, that is if you really are running 1500.

but once again im basing this off mile times and subtracting the amount of a 100 off that

  10. of course thats great!! you dont need to aim for anything but there is always room for improvement you can keep trying to get better and train some more just dont push yourself over the edge...steadily do it...

  11. You've got your work cut out for you..Keep working out, you'll get better..... A good freshmen should be under 5 minutes for the mile. not over 7 minutes

  12. I think they are averaging 2 minutes less than your time.

  13. Hi i am an aau track runner and i just left the youth division which is (13-14yrs old). 6 min and 44 sec is ok but if you want to be compettive then you might want to start aiming for faster times.

Every tell your self you are going to drop a certain amount of seconds. It is not possible to drop a minute in a week it just takes hard and determination. My time was actually 5 min 50 sec

  14. congratulations

  15. Ok.

  16. what's 1500 meters...how long is that???
