  2. You seem to have a lot of good information given to you already, but I'll fill up a bit of space it may help, I hope so. You were too young to be heaving such a weight around, it probably caused a slight dislocation in your back, it only needs to be slight to be very painful, I've had it, and I'm no longer young.  One thing you can try if a chiropractor is not available, and for that matter even if one is, (I don't trust them all), some help, some are there only to get money out of you and talk you into lengthy and unnecessary programs, I know I met one.  After allowing him to talk me into Xrays I visited his con den there I was told that I had some "subluxation" which he had told us about in one of his brainwashing lectures, apparently he couldn't stress the implications of that while on his brainwashing, so the mere mention of it sent me into feelings of terror, and thought I would fall apart in a few years. ( 30 yrs Iater I stilI believe it was part of the con) was talked out of several hundred dollars to go into one of his "programs" and I entered a place with an impressive amount of gadgets, he put me on one of these, laid me back, put me up in a sitting position, touched my neck with one of his appliances, said good, which made me very relieved, and made me an appointment for later that week.  This went on for about 6 weeks, same thing each visit same word good, and told to sit in a special chair like the ones we call armchairs at home, for 10 mins, as this is an important part of the cure. After 6 weeks I'll admit I wasn't any worse than I was, by the same rule, I wasn't any better, so was advised to go into the extended program, which could last up to 6 months, and was given some idea of what they intended to rob me of, so I had the sense to lie to them and say that I would consider it.  That night I decided to see if I could do better myself, and lay on the floor for a while, and did this each night, after about a week I found it to be a considerable help, so went on with it nightly, and in the end I had no pain whatever, in fact I could do sit ups,  something I had never tried before.  Lying out straight may hurt like h**l at first, but eases gradually. It has just struck me that if they had recommended that as part of their treatment I would have thought they were genii, and recommended other gullible people to be robbed by them.   I had visited chiropractors before and they had helped me, but they were genuine, and usually it is only a few dollars and a couple of visits, one of them I visited was so gentle that I wondered what benefit I was going to get from him, but I was free of pain for years, he didn't make a charge if you couldn't afford it, if you could all he asked for was a contribution that I could afford to give to a charity, later he was banned from practicing by the authorities due to the person who robbed me of my money claiming  that he had no degrees.
