  1. Ask your friends and family first, and then consult any students' exchange programs that are held in your country. Otherwise, try summer English classes for foreign students, or you could also find a host family and homestay in US for a period of time. Good luck!

  2. its cheaper and easier to get an education at home.  Finish university at home, then come to america.  you'll save a ton of money.

  3. Try the organisation AFS.

  4. where do you live? (it depends)

and where in america do you want to study?

  5. That's sort of the beauty of America: you CAN come study here. Depending on the country in which you live, i believe you have to obtain permission to leave.  After that, i believe you get a student visa from the USA and that's about it.  I'm no expert in all the logistics, but i can tell you that any school you wish to go to will take you.  If your family lives near a High School, you can begin your studies there pretty easily... without much hassle.  Just enroll!  If you don't plan on living here, then just go through the learning abroad  program stuff.

  6. Since you have friends and family there, it might not be all that hard for you. I would visit the USA government site and see what the requirements are for study visas. The other way you could go about studying in America is through an exchange program such as ASSE, AFS, or rotary.

  7. By federal law, exchange students through standard organizations need to be 15 - 18 1/2. So, at the moment, that would NOT be an option for you.

However, since you have a place to stay, you could consider seeing if the high school where your family is located (your friends won't work for this) will allow you in on an F-1 visa. Not all high schools do this. It would be more expensive and complicated AND your age might still be a problem.

The only place where your age would NOT be a difficulty would be boarding school -- the most expensive of the three options.

If you wait until you are 15, and use an exchange program, you can stay with either your family OR friends. It's called "direct placement". Just write down their names on your application and have them apply as a host family with the same organization, writing down your name. Make sure the one you choose is CSIET listed (www.csiet.org). If it is not, the high school may not accept you.

Generally AFS, Aspect, Rotary, YFU and ASSE will be fine and accepted everywhere (your family or friends SHOULD call the high school for a recommendation). AYUSA/INTRAX has some problems and is not recommended.

    Good luck!

  8. you would need to know of a school and apply, once accepted,a letter from the school saying so and also that you have payed for the course..an invitation from your family over there.medical insurance. a bank statemanet with a lot of money on the name of your parents.valid passaport and students visa.good luck

  9. There are a lot of programs available to those that want to study aboard. Try talking to your school first to see if they have connections that can help you.

I'd be really surprised if they didn't have information.
