  1. Check the laws in your state.  You will most likely need to read a drivers manual and study it...go to your Department of Motor Vehicles....and get required forms and the manual.  You can find out what else you need to do there as well

Driver's ed classes are not a requirement my 18 yr old got her permit at 16 and license at 18 w/o taking a driver's ed class.  It does however, help with your parents car insurance and they may want you to take it .

  2. it basically depends on your state laws. you would need to go go to your local DMV and set up appointments. they also have driving instructors and course to take.

  3. You can get a permit if you enroll into a driver's ed class, so I advise searching for some in your area on the internet.

  4. go to the DMV & pick up a book.  you can study from it.  congrats & good luck, buddy.  be safe.  (:

  5. Go to the www.Texas.gov site and LOOK under Government services or type in Motor Vehicle or drivers license. You'll get the whole p**p and scoop online. And UNLIKE THIS PLACE, it will be from the horses mouth.

  6. I got my learner's permit when I was 15 and I live in Texas.  Find a driving school near you and then apply to get your learner's permit.

  7. You don't have to go to a normal high school to take driver's ed. You can enroll in a private school. Search your local yellow pages for some ads (probably under "driving schools").
