No, you can't have a maestro until you are 18. Its so stupid, you are treated as an adult for things you have to pay out, but for things that benefit you, you are treated as a child.

You probably can, it shouldn't matter really if you are earning money or not.

When i turned 16 I got a Barclays Debit card but I hardly ever put money in, =/
