  1. I am willing to bet that you will go do what all the younger peope are doing and mom will set herself up with stuff she enjoys.  With all the options onboard these days, you'll probably have to look at your daily flyer (if your ship makes them up) and decide what you'd like to do together and when and where you'll meet (like at the buffet bars!).  Don't worry, you'll both have a great time!

  2. You and your mom would have the time of your life on a cruise. Both of you would meet so many people it isn't funny. You can't help it. Your dinner companions, your pool buddies, and your shore excursions are just a few ways that you will meet people. Just remember if you never want to see these people again, no problem. If you want to stay connected, then no problem also. It is all up to you. That is why I have a tendency to let it all hang out on cruises because I'll never see these people again unless I choose to.

  3. I have been on about 20 cruises and I can tell you that you do not need to look for a cruise just for mom and child.  About any cruise line will have something for both of you.  BUT,  I recommend this.

The best cruise line to go on with a teen is Royal Caribbean. It has the most on-board activities for kids and the other cruise lines cannot compare. Royal Caribbean is also a cruise line that caters to young cruiser and families. It has lots of FREE  things to do like ice skating, roller blading, mini-golf course, a full sized basketball/tennis court, the rock climbing wall, and on the new Freedom Class ships the surfing simulator, called the Flowrider. It has an area on its ships called Adventure Ocean which has programs for kids of all ages between 3 and 17. It has a special teen disco area that is open until 2:00AM each evening.  So you can go here and meet other teens and hang out all day if you want.  All of the teen programs are free and they have a professionally trained staff person there to plan and supervise activities for you.  There is free food and music and you will  have a great time.

The RC ships that you should look for cruises on are the RC's Freedom Class and Voyager Class ships. You can look at the features of these ships on these two web links:

    Freedom Class:

    http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruis...

    Voyager Class:

After Royal Caribbean the next best would be Carnival. Carnival is the budget cruise line that generally has the lowest prices. They cater to young people, first time cruiser and families. The best of their ships are their newer ships so do pay attention to when the ship was launched is you find a really cheap cruise.

While Carnival is good for kids, you will have a much better cruise on Royal Caribbean.

    That's my opinion and recommendation.

  4. ALL OF THEM... JUST PICK ONE AND GO, THE MEN WILL FIND YOUR MOM AND YOU MIGHT JUST HOOK-UP TOO...  GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY!!!
